The Three T’s ✝️πŸ•Š️

Hey family! Here we go again. It’s Saturday, and I’m back with another blog post. Honestly, I didn’t even know what to write about this week. I’ve been praying and asking the Holy Spirit to just drop something in my heart. And you know what? He did. πŸ’—

This week has been one of those Three T weeks, full of Temptations, Trials, and Tribulations. πŸ˜… I know we all go through those seasons when life feels heavy, confusing, or just plain hard. But even in all that, God still has a message for us. Before we dive in, let’s start with our memory verse:

Memory Verse: “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” ~James 1:12 (NKJV)

πŸ’§ Temptations

Let’s be honest. Temptations are part of our daily walk. Even Jesus Himself was tempted in the wilderness, so none of us are exempt. Temptation itself isn’t the sin; giving in to it is. But even when we stumble, God doesn’t stop loving us. This week, I faced a really tough one. I found myself tempted to watch explicit content, something I’ve struggled with in the past. I wish I could say I resisted, but I didn’t. I failed. Yet that failure reminded me of something beautiful: God’s grace doesn’t run out when we fall; it meets us right there.

Memory Verse: “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” ~1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV)

Temptation comes to test our hearts, not to destroy us. When we bring our weakness to God, He strengthens us and helps us grow stronger the next time it comes.

TrialsπŸ’₯

As believers, we often face moments that test our faith — times when things don’t go our way even after we’ve prayed and trusted God for a specific outcome. These moments can be confusing and painful, but they are not signs that God has abandoned us. They are trials meant to strengthen and refine us.

Personally, I’ve faced situations where I prayed for something and it didn’t happen as I hoped. It’s hard — especially when you know you’ve done all you can and still feel disappointed. I’ve also faced judgment from people who think that coming to Christ means you instantly become perfect — sinless and blameless. While the Bible encourages us to strive toward holiness, it’s a process, not an instant change. We stumble, we learn, and we grow by grace. What hurts most is when that judgment comes from people who are supposed to help you grow — those who should correct you in love but instead condemn you. But I’ve learned that even this is a part of my refining. God uses these experiences to draw me closer to Him, teaching me to rely more on His approval than on the opinions of others. Just like gold is refined by fire, our faith is purified through trials.

Memory Verse: "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it unto a completion until the day of Christ Jesus." ~Philippians 1:6(NIV).

Memory Verse: " Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." ~James 1:2-3(NIV)

πŸŒͺ️ Tribulations

Tribulations are those moments in life that shake us to the core. These are times when we feel like giving up, when everything seems to be falling apart. Every believer faces them in one form or another. Some go through rejection, heartbreak, disappointment, or loss. Others battle inner struggles like doubt, fear, or feeling distant from God. No matter where we are in the world, we all share these experiences because following Christ doesn’t mean life becomes easy; it means we’re never alone in the storm.

Even in those moments, God’s presence never leaves us. He uses tribulations to strengthen our faith and remind us that our hope isn’t in the world but in Him. Through every hardship, we are being molded into stronger vessels, capable of carrying His glory.

Jesus Himself said that in this world, we will face tribulations. Yet He didn’t stop there — He gave us hope by assuring us that He has overcome the world. That means no matter how heavy our troubles feel, victory is already ours through Him.

Memory Verse: I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." ~ John16:33 (NIV)

Closing Reflection✨

As I wrote this, I realized how real and constant these three Ts are in every believer’s life. Temptations test our discipline, trials stretch our faith, and tribulations refine our hearts. But even when we stumble — and trust me, I’ve had my moments — God’s grace always reaches deeper than our failures.

The truth is, walking with Christ isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. It’s about learning, falling, and rising again with His help. Every test we face draws us closer to His strength and away from our own. So if you’re going through your own “T” season, remember you are not alone. God is still writing your victory story, even through the storm.
