Overwhelmed? Be still💫

Image
Memory Verse 💨 “ Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” ~ Matthew 11:28 Life can get really overwhelming sometimes. Everything happens so fast. One moment you are trying to rest, and the next moment you are worrying about school, work, responsibilities, friendships, relationships, the future, and so many other things all at once. Especially for us as students or working individuals, life can become very exhausting mentally and emotionally. Sometimes you are not even physically tired; your mind is just tired. And honestly, I think a lot of people are currently feeling this way in this season as well. But one scripture that keeps me going is when Jesus said: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Jesus is the true source of rest and peace, not the temporary comfort we try to find in the world, in people, or in distractions. I think in moments like these, we should learn to slow down and be still before God...

The best gift the world received💖

🌿  Memory Verse:  “ If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  ” ~ Romans 10:9 ✨ Introduction Before we talk about the gift, we need to understand why it was necessary. A lot of us go through life thinking everything is fine. We look okay, we feel okay, and from the outside, nothing seems wrong. But sometimes, what is happening internally is a completely different story. 🩺 Doctor Analogy Imagine going to the hospital for a routine checkup. The doctor runs some tests and scans, and everything seems normal at first glance. You feel fine, you look healthy, and nothing about you suggests that something is wrong. However, the doctor then examines your results closely and notices something serious. Let’s say it’s a disease like cancer. Now imagine the doctor simply tells you, “You are sick,” without showing you any proof. You probably wouldn’t believe it. After all, you feel fine. But if t...

For Such a Time as This👑

🌿  Memory Verse:  “ And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this? ”~ Esther 4:14 Introduction💨 There are moments in life where we may not fully understand why we are where we are. The position we hold, the people around us, and the doors that opened may all seem random, but in God’s plan, nothing is accidental. Sometimes, we are placed in certain positions not just for ourselves, but for a greater purpose that will reveal itself in time.  The Backstory 📖 Reference: 1 Samuel 15 Before the story of Esther, there was a moment in history that seemed unrelated, yet deeply connected. God commanded King Saul to completely destroy the Amalekites. Saul obeyed partially. He spared King Agag and retained some things for himself, despite God having given clear instructions. Although the battle was won, the assignment was not fully completed. What seemed like a small act of disobedience would later echo in a ...

Ready or Return: Before the door closes💫

Image
🌿  Memory Verse “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in… ~ Revelation 3:20 ✨This is a two-in-one reflection on two well-known parables—stories we have heard many times but may not have fully understood. One speaks about being ready. The other speaks about returning. As you read, take your time to reflect and also go back to the Scriptures yourself. There is always more depth when you encounter the Word personally. 🕯️ Parable 1: The Ten Virgins 📖 Reference: Matthew 25:1–13 (Take time to read it fully for yourself to gain a deeper understanding.) 🔹 Summary Jesus tells a story about ten virgins who were waiting for the bridegroom to arrive. Five of them were wise and brought extra oil for their lamps, while the other five were foolish and did not prepare well. As the bridegroom delayed, they all became tired and fell asleep. Then at midnight, there was a sudden cry announcing that the bridegroom had come. Everyone wok...

When the King Returns👑🤍

🌿  Memory Verse:  “Therefore you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him.” — Matthew 24:44 Introduction 💨 These days, the world is full of signs that Jesus spoke about long ago. Wars, conflicts, famine, earthquakes, and global unrest are happening before our very eyes, even though these things once seemed distant or unlikely. Jesus warned His followers in Matthew 24 that before His return, there would be wars, rumors of wars, famines, and earthquakes in various places. He told us to watch and be ready, because we cannot know the exact hour. Looking at today’s world, it is clear that we are living in the last days. The coming of Christ is not a distant story; it is a reality that will happen. For those of us watching, praying, and believing, there is hope and purpose in being alert. Signs We See Today Wars and Conflicts —Nations rising against nations, conflicts like those between Iran and other countries remind us...

Conviction Is Not Condemnation 💫

Memory verse: " When He comes, He will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment"~ John 16:8. Introduction💨 "Conviction" and "judgment" are two words that sound similar, but they feel very different. Many times we confuse one for the other. Sometimes, we say, "Don't judge me," when in reality, the Holy Spirit is convicting us. Other times, people speak harshly and call it "correction," when it is actually condemnation. Conviction comes from God. Judgment, when done wrongly, often comes from pride . The Holy spirit convicts not us to shame us, but to restore us. He points out sin not to destroy us, but to draw us closer to Christ. Conviction produces repentance and peace. Judgment produces repentance defensiveness and distance.   “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”                    ~Romans 8:1 A Relatable Example Imagine you pos...

Final home💖

Memory Verse 🌿:   “ But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” ~ Philippians 3:20 What about heaven?   Heaven is something many believers talk about, but not many truly think about. We plan our lives here, build dreams here, and get comfortable here. Yet Jesus reminded us that this world is not our final stop. He said He is preparing a place for us. That means there is more beyond this life, something eternal, something perfect, something with Him. Heaven is not just a story or a hope to comfort ourselves. It is a promise from Jesus. The Bible describes heaven as a place where there is no more pain, no tears, no sorrow, and no death.  A place where sin cannot enter and where God's presence fills everything. Imagine a place with no heartbreak, no fear, no disappointment, and no goodbyes. That is the kind of eternity God is preparing. Sometimes we get so focused on surviving life here that we forget we were created...
