What Gospel Are You listening To?

🌿  Memory Verse : " But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse. " ~ Galatians 1:8 (NIV) The word "gospel" simply means "good news." But what exactly is this good news? The gospel is the message that God, in His great love for humanity, sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to save sinners. Jesus lived the perfect life that we could never live, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and on the third day He rose again, defeating sin and death. Through Him, everyone who repents and places their faith in Christ receives forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and the gift of eternal life. Paul summarizes the gospel beautifully in 1 Corinthians 15:3–4: "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures." When Shame Keeps You from God😣

🌿 Memory Verse:  "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."  ~ 1 John 1:9 One of the greatest lies the enemy tells us after we sin is that we are too far gone to come back to God. He wants us to dwell in shame until we begin to hide from the very One who can restore us. But Scripture paints a different picture. Proverbs 24:16 says, "For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again." Notice that the verse does not say the righteous never fall. It acknowledges that even those who love God will stumble. The difference is that they do not remain on the ground. They get back up, not because they are strong, but because God's grace is greater than their failures. If you have sinned, don't let shame convince you to stay away from God. Run to Him, confess your sin, receive His forgiveness, and allow Him to restore you. The Father is not waiting to reject you; He is inviting you ...
