Introduction💨

These days, the world is full of signs that Jesus spoke about long ago. Wars, conflicts, famine, earthquakes, and global unrest are happening before our very eyes, even though these things once seemed distant or unlikely.

Jesus warned His followers in Matthew 24 that before His return, there would be wars, rumors of wars, famines, and earthquakes in various places. He told us to watch and be ready, because we cannot know the exact hour. Looking at today’s world, it is clear that we are living in the last days. The coming of Christ is not a distant story; it is a reality that will happen. For those of us watching, praying, and believing, there is hope and purpose in being alert.

Signs We See Today

  1. Wars and Conflicts—Nations rising against nations, conflicts like those between Iran and other countries remind us of Matthew 24:6–7 which says, "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom..."
  1. Famine and Natural Disasters—Food shortages and earthquakes are appearing in various parts of the world (Matthew 24:7–8): "...and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains"
  1. The Outpouring of God’s Spirit—Even in these troubling times, God’s Spirit is being poured out on all generations. Visions, dreams, and prophetic insights are appearing as promised in Joel 2:28–29: "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh; your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions." When you see supernatural encounters being shared on social media, whether dreams, visions, or prophetic words, it aligns with this promise. They are not a surprise because Scripture said they would happen as part of God’s outpouring. This is evidence that the Spirit is active and that we are living in the last days.

 A Call to Readiness 💖

The signs are clear, but the exact timing of Christ’s return is not. Whether the rapture comes before the tribulations or at the end, we do not know. What we do know is that we must live ready, with lives marked by faith, love, and obedience.

We are in the end times, and Christ could return in a minute. This is not to cause fear but to awaken urgency: to seek Him, live righteously, and spread His hope.

Reflection💫

The King is coming. The signs are here, the Spirit is moving, and God is faithful. There is still time to align your life with His will. Watch, pray, and stay ready, because the day of His return is approaching faster than we think.
